Speak and Go for the OL (“Office Lady”)
In their 20s and 30s aren’t yet married and have disposable income and time. They want to meet other like-minded people so they sign up for company classes. We will give you a possible to reach ten to twelve people in this group and interest them in studying from December 2021 through July 2022 and one to New York together in the summer of 2022.
Speak and Go for the College-Aged
Similar to the OL-focused cohort, this cohort of College-Aged students would have each of their Skype/Zoom lessons be designed to get them closer to their goal of living and studying in the U.S. Of the twelve video/chat lessons they would have each month, perhaps one or two would involve WQ US staff giving them advice on their college applications, on their letters of recommendation, and on their TOEFL tests. WQ US staff would be the most involved with recruiting and retaining this target market.
Speak and Go for the Seniors
For this target market, English lessons are a way of guaranteeing regular interaction with peers while learning something at the same time. For a course like “Speak and Go” with an actual trip to a foreign country as the end goal, the weekly sessions on Skype/Zoom with the native instructor will need to be preparing them for the tourist spots they’ll experience and how to speak English and get the most out of their travel. Practical conversation practice about hailing a cab, ordering a meal, greeting neighbors, and buying omiyage at Macy’s Department Store make up the bulk of the weekly lessons. Finally, they actually travel to America with their study friends for one week of living, laughing, and traveling about with their host/guide/teacher.
